Product Overview Bromazepam 3 mg is a prescription medication belonging to the benzodiazepine class. It acts as an anxiolytic (anti-anxiety agent) with sedative, hypnotic, and muscle relaxant properties. It is primarily used for the short-term treatment of severe anxiety, tension, agitation, or panic states where symptoms are disabling. It may also be used as an adjunct in certain functional disorders or as a premedicant before minor surgery. Dosage and Administration

• Elderly or debilitated patients: Lower doses recommended (e.g., maximum 3 mg/day in divided doses) due to higher risk of side effects.

• Do not stop suddenly—taper off under medical supervision to prevent rebound anxiety or withdrawal.

Common Side Effects

• Drowsiness, sedation, or fatigue
• Dizziness, muscle weakness, or ataxia (unsteadiness)
• Confusion or memory impairment (especially in elderly)
• Headache or dry mouth

Serious side effects (seek immediate medical help): Severe respiratory depression, unusual behavior changes, hallucinations, or signs of allergic reaction (rash, swelling).

Precautions and Contraindications
